KIRT OJALA
Regional Director of Leasing

Kirt
was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is a
graduate of Portage Central High School and the University
of Michigan. Kirt was a member of the University of
Michigan baseball team and was drafted to the Minor
League New York Yankees in 1990. In 1997, he earned
a World Series ring while playing for the Florida Marlins.
His career with the Marlins ended in 1999, due to a
pitching injury.
Currently,
Kirt is the Regional Director of Leasing and Property
Management with The Hinman Company, responsible for
the Grand Rapids and Muskegon regions. Kirt is a member
of BOMA, the Centennial Office Park Owners Association,
the Commercial Association of Realtors, Grand Rapids
Chamber of Commerce, GKAR, Wyoming/Kentwood Chamber
of Commerce, CAR Networking Committee, and the Michigan
Association of Realtors. Additionally, Kirt is also
a CCIM Candidate, holds his real estate salesperson
license, and is on the Board of Directors for the Grand
Rapids Downtown Alliance.
Kirt
and his wife Carin reside in Grand Rapids, Michigan,
with their son, daughter, and three dogs. In his spare
time, Kirt enjoys playing ice hockey, hunting, fishing,
and golfing. He also enjoys tinkering with the 900
gallon fish pond in his backyard.
